We are lifestyle photographers who offer fun, natural, editorial, and romantic photos to our clients! We prefer outdoor settings and natural light in the beauty that coastal North Carolina has to offer, and always accommodate different lighting and venues for weddings, and love to travel to other destinations for photo sessions as well!
What is a lifestyle photographer?
In our opinion, a lifestyle photographer is one that preserves moments as they are happening, capturing the story and emotions, and also creating the best images from the surroundings. We search for the best light, the best background, and position our clients so they look their best. Some of the shots are candid and some are posed, but we're always looking to position our clients so they look their best, while still capturing the true essence of the scene in an authentic way. We may smooth hair, adjust dresses, unbutton the top coat button, ask you to pull your elbow slightly out from your torso, but we won't make you appear to be something you're not. We want to capture you, your essence, your true, beautiful self, in the moment. When you look at your images, you will remember how you felt during the session, and the feel of your surroundings.
Fun
First and foremost, we want your photos sessions to be fun! We want you to enjoy the experience and have the session be a fun memory in and of itself. We are laid back, accommodating, loving people that want to get to kno w you and see you look and feel your best.
Natural
Maybe you've never had professional photos taken before, or maybe it's something you grew up doing and are comfortable. Either way, we will let you know what to do, so that you can relax, have fun, and be yourself. We will show you what to do so that you look your best, and still get those natural smiles, capturing real moments, that we all love.
Editorial
We capture the story of your family and vacation, or the story of your life here in Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. We take a mixture of posed and candid shots, and strive to capture those special moments that will take you back to that moment and remember how you felt.
Romantic
Who doesn't love a beautiful romantic photo? Whether it's your wedding day, your engagement session, or even a family or individual session, a portion of your photos will have a romantic feel. We think of romantic as soft touches and natural poses - nothing to be scared about!
Portrait Photo Sessions
We love family portraits and candids sessions, in the outdoor environment that Wrightsville Beach offers! We believe that the best time to take family photos is when you are already spending time together, relaxed, having fun, feeling and looking your best, aka on vacation! We are natural light photographers and offer a fun experience spending time having fun together, and also creating photographs - another relaxed event for your vacation, that produces lovely photos that will last a lifetime and capture you at your best.
We offer the following photography sessions:
- Family portraits and candids (At your venue or our outdoor recommendation)
- Child portraits and candids
- Engagement & couple portraits and candids
- Individual portraits and head shots (At your venue or our outdoor recommendation)
- Senior photos (For high school seniors)
Our most popular session is an approximate one-hour session and all digital downloads (minimum of 50+) for $500. We have other packages available, ranging from 45-minute sessions and digital downloaded photos, all the way up to 90-minute sessions and gorgeous printed photographs (metals, standouts, canvas, framed) delivered to your home.
